Jose Marti APSE Initiative  

Since 2021 Inclusive Schools Caribbean (ISC) has provided technical assistance to Jose Marti Technical High School's APSE ( Alternative Pathway to Secondary Education) department. In an effort to remove some of the barriers to education, Inclusive Schools Caribbean, Jose Marti Alumni Association New York (JMAANY), and the Jamaica North East Diaspora (JANED) partnered with Urban Art Gallery. The organizations worked collaboratively with the Jose Marti's administrative team to secure and repair the APSE Literacy Classroom. Urban Art Gallery of Philadlephia generously donated classroom supplies to Mrs. Jassette Stoner, Head of the APSE Department and her team to help build a classroom environment that is supportive and welcoming for all students.
